Jacquelyn Mosley

Dr. Jacquelyn Mosley has been actively involved in promoting cultural competence in the state of Arkansas for over a decade and is admired widely for passionately integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion into Arkansas agriculture. She has published over 50 research articles and secured over $2.2 million in federal funding from the USDA/NIFA, NIH, and NSF, all supporting DEI programming. Dr. Mosley is the faculty mentor for the UARK Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS) and has increased membership in the local organization by 900%. She is also a trained administrator in the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) and has taught 8 different classes related to cultural competence. She has established herself as the go-to person for cultural competence training, assessing over 2,000 students, faculty, staff, and Division of Agriculture leaders in over 60 trainings across campus, as well as the leadership team of Tyson Foods. Clearly, Dr. Mosley is an agent of change, and her efforts are making a difference.
